Thanks for watching'DRIVING TRUCKS' and 'HUNTING BUCKS. I believe that Ford Mercon SP is an equivalent which may help regarding costs for you. Removing the transmission cooler lines was not hard to change Follow these steps and do it yourself. I would try to find a garage that knows their way around the transmission and what fluid to put in it. I would recommend the fluid level be checked at the very least, there are guides on youtube and the forum but any garage familiar with the ZF transmission should be able to do it for much less than the dealer. But the lines can be replaced with minimal fluid spillage. Cost: 40-75 depends on where you get and if you get OEMTime: about 1-2 hoursSkill: medium This isn’t a tough job but takes a little time and you might need. Yes the transmission doesn't have a dipstick to fill/ check. If you're doing what I did you'll need 4 new o rings for the lines where they go into the transmission. On average, you can expect to pay between. It's a pretty poor access to remove and replace the lines but it can be done, I think the trick is to put them in one at a time. The cost of replacing transmission oil cooler lines in Canada varies depending on the make and model of your vehicle. I ended up getting some Swagelok fittings made by a friend and replacing the leaking hose and crimp parts of the pipes as they were on backorder with Jaguar. The crimps are of low quality and cannot be tightened up. I think the parts were £120 or so, the issue is fitting them, mine were leaking where the pipe becomes a hose.
